Kurisu Makise is an extremely talented student. She is neuroscience researcher, having had her research published in the "Sciency" academic journal at the age of 18. She got messed up with Rintarou Okabe and joined the Future Gadget Lab as Member 004. In the series Future Gadget Lab was obsessed with an idea to make time travel possible using microwave and cellphone, and as usually happens in anime, they did it for sure.
